I’ve worked as both an independent and inhouse seamstress for over fifteen years, altering thousands of wedding dresses from brands such as: Rosa Clara, Pronovias, Vera Vang, Royaldie, AIRE, etc.
Drawing on years of experience with many different materials and designs, I’ll ensure your dress fits perfectly for your wedding day.

Over fifteen years in the industry.
I come from a long line of seamstresses, and their joy for creating and mending clothes has been passed down to me. At the age of four, I proudly wore my first creation, a belt, to school. By sixteen, I had won my first competition for designing and making my own garment. My love for sewing has remained constant, manifesting in various forms throughout my life.

With formal training in pattern making, textiles and period costume, as well as experience gained through an apprenticeship with a designer, my passion and expertise are evident in every stitch. Having worked on thousands of wedding dresses across every style and fabric, I know how to alter a beautiful gown into one that feels truly made for you.

Leanne is absolutely AMAZING!! My dress arrived 6 weeks late, and we weren't sure when it was going to arrive, I found Leanne online & explained the situation - we ended up with only a week between collecting the dress & alterations... Leanne was so flexible, is absolutely lovely and managed to work wonders with my dress. Leanne was able to run through what was needed to be done to make it fit perfectly, and I am blown away by speed and quality, and she is also incredibly reasonably priced... Leanne is an absolute superstar! I've recently come to Leanne with *a lot* of alterations - and all of them have been done perfectly, and turned round quickly.
These include shortening and fitting at the waist of an evening wedding dress. Shortening of multiple crochet and satin trousers. And shorterning and fitting at the waist of multiple pairs of jeans.
As well as her work being of a super high quality, she is also very fairly priced, and a super lovely person!
I'll definitely be an ongoing regular of Leanne's now I've discovered the joy of having clothes that actually fit!!

Leanne is wonderful and very talented. She listened to what I liked and then she drew the design for me to see. Leanne was very attentive , helped me find the fabric .
