I’ve worked as both an independent and inhouse seamstress for over fifteen years, altering thousands of wedding dresses from brands such as: Rosa Clara, Pronovias, Vera Vang, Royaldie, AIRE, etc.
Drawing on years of experience with many different materials and designs, I’ll ensure your dress fits perfectly for your wedding day.

Over fifteen years in the industry.

I come from a long line of seamstresses, and their joy for creating and mending clothes has been passed down to me. At the age of four, I proudly wore my first creation, a belt, to school. By sixteen, I had won my first competition for designing and making my own garment. My love for sewing has remained constant, manifesting in various forms throughout my life.

With formal training in pattern making, textiles and period costume, as well as experience gained through an apprenticeship with a designer, my passion and expertise are evident in every stitch. Having worked on thousands of wedding dresses across every style and fabric, I know how to alter a beautiful gown into one that feels truly made for you.

5* for Leanne. I honestly can’t thank her enough! From the moment we met, She understood the vision. I did have a wobble a few weeks before the wedding, but she kept me calm and was able to change the original dress by adding straps! She’s fantastic! Highly recommend!!

I found Leanne online and got in touch to ask if she could do some alterations to my wedding dress which I'd bought online. She was so kind, welcoming and helpful, quick to respond and to undertake the work. She took up the hem and took great care to make sure the length worked with both my heels and evening flat shoes, as well as sewing on some beads more securely. I would definitely recommend! Could not of asked for a better service, I had a bad experience with my first seamstress and was worried to find another and have the same but leanna was so lovely and reassuring and my dress was perfect ! She listened to what I wanted and made it everything I imagined

Leanne is a fantastic seamstress. She altered my wedding dress perfectly, it fits like a glove (I'm 4'11" so it needed shortening in multiple places!). When I went back for a further minor alteration she did not charge me for it. I would highly recommend her!

I specialise in wedding dress and evening wear alterations. I also create bespoke accessories such as veils, shawls, cap sleeves, etc.

Apart from the dress, please bring along the shoes you plan to wear on your wedding day as well as any undergarments.

I work to a typical 3 fitting system. The first fitting being 8-10 weeks prior to the wedding date.

Yes, rush services are available for an additional fee. Please let me know your deadline when booking your appointment, and I will do my best to accommodate your needs.

I accept cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments. Payment is due upon completion of the work.

Yes, I have experience working with a wide range of fabrics, including delicate and vintage materials. Special care will be taken to ensure your garment is handled with the utmost attention and care.

Yes, fittings are an essential part of the custom design process. Multiple fittings may be required to ensure the perfect fit. These will be scheduled at various stages of the project.

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. This allows me to accommodate other clients.

Yes, you can provide your own fabric for custom projects. Please ensure the fabric is suitable for the intended design. If you’re unsure, I can help you choose the right material.

I take pride in the quality of my work and want you to be fully satisfied. If there are any issues with the completed garment, please contact me within 7 days, and I will make the necessary adjustments at no additional cost.
